Gaining Treasures Without Limits
For one hour, whatever you collect — take it for yourself!"

There was a man who was struggling to make a living.
His wife said to him: "My dear, the school year is starting now.
You have ten children.
We need to buy them school backpacks,
We need to bring them supplies, arrange things for their school,
We need to pay tuition fees, we need to do...
Oh my eyes! Oh my eyes, my soul!
We need money. Creditors keep coming every moment from here and there."
He was in despair.
He walked along the seashore like this and said: "I'll look at the waves for a bit to calm down."
Wow! He sees someone over there, a young man, a fine young fellow,
Screaming: "Help! Drowning! Drowning! Deep!"
He sees him drowning.
What should he do for him? What can he do for this young man right now? How can he do it?
How will he rescue him? How will he rescue him? How?
He wants to save him.
He leaped in, and somehow managed to pull him out.
He started performing CPR on him, and called an ambulance. He had a kosher cell phone.
He called an ambulance. The ambulance came, picked him up,
And he went with him to the hospital, accompanying him.
There, doctors treat him. They talk to him: "Who are you?"
Slowly, they start conversing with him, asking: "Who are you?"
Do you hear who he is? The King's son!
The King's son!
He says to them: "This man saved me, wait. Don't let him leave.
He says to him: Don't leave, wait until father comes and see what happens. I will reward you."
Now you know what is about to happen to this man, right?
He went out in despair, and in one single moment the Holy One, Blessed be He, turned everything around for good.
The King comes and says to him: "You saved my heir.
I have no other son. This is my only one.
What shall I give you now?"
He said to him: "Listen, I will grant you access — no one has ever had such a privilege — into my treasure vaults.
For one hour, whatever you collect — take it for yourself!"
The man was dancing with joy! When?
"In another week. You will come and enter on a specific day; enter and dance.
In a week you enter, you dance."
Ready? "I will enter."
The King's advisors heard about this. They said to him: "What have you done, my Lord King?
He can take the most valuable things in the world from there!
He can take whatever he wants! What are you doing?
In one hour, he can empty out everything!"
The King says: "If so, what shall we do?"
They said to him: "Let us handle it."
They went and inquired about him, asking: "What does he like?"
They were told: "He loves music and singing, and he loves food."
They brought in full orchestras, Persian delicacies, Iraqi dishes, all kinds of food, Tunisian...
They brought in kitchen after kitchen after kitchen.
Paid top money for them.
They set it all up for him. When the man entered — what an orchestra! What food!
Each one calls to him: "Come here, come here, come here, come here!"
Meanwhile, everyone is inviting him over.
He says: "I have time, but let me just taste a little from here, a little from here, a little from here..."
Suddenly a soldier, a guard, comes, grabs him, and pulls him out.
"Hey! I haven't taken anything yet!"
He says: "Sir, your hour is up.
You wasted it on these foolish distractions!
You went to eat — your hour is gone! Your hour is gone!"
He says: It's the exact same thing. A person comes into this world, and is told: "Whatever you collect is yours."
But what does a person encounter? Trials, temptations!
The Evil Inclination leads him here, and here, and here...
No, my friends!
Pay attention, do not follow after the Evil Inclination.
With Hashem's help and salvation.
