The Nights of Gold

The winter season is starting now.

The nights are long.

Now long nights are beginning.

This is called the nights of gold.

Rabbi Tzvi of Zidichov would say these nights are Chol HaMoed, this is the greatest holiday.

Because it is possible to study in them all night for at least five hours.

A person is free, no one disturbs him at night.

He sits to study in tranquility.

And there is no one who knows the sweetness of the Torah like this.

Very happy, he has a schedule, he studies.

He utilizes these nights to study.

Especially now that the rains are starting, water is coming down.

Without water there is no Torah.

To engage in holy Torah.

And this is a great joy for a person.
