One Should Continually Remember the Generation of the Flood

And the L-rd said to Noah, the end of all flesh has come before Me. For the earth is filled with violent crime because of them, and so, I will destroy with the earth.

Make for yourself an ark of gofer wood. Make the ark into compartments and caulk the inside and outside with tar.

How did our rabbis say it? Discern the years of generation after generation.

One must remember what happened in the generation of the Flood, always;

what happened in the generation of the Dispersion, and what happened in the generation of Sodom. Do not think that this has been cut off from the world?

It says, in every single generation there are certain sparks of them.

In all generations they come—whether those from the generation of the Flood or those who create problems and troubles, they exist in every generation. They rise up against us.

A person needs to separate from them, to be careful of them, and to strive with all his might, with all his might, to know that "the earth is filled with violence because of them, and behold, I will destroy them with the earth."

Now is the time for us to hearken to the advice of the sages, to walk in the ways of Hashem, and to do the will of our Father in Heaven.
