Shabbat Breishit Has An Influence Over The Entire Year
Shabbat Bereshit is the root of all the days of the year. What does this mean? How a person conducts themselves during it, in this coming Shabbat, so they will conduct themselves the entire year. Why? Because you know, it is written: "Six days shall work be done" — work gets done by itself. How? The Shabbat is the source of blessing. When a person keeps a good Shabbat, all six of their days are blessed in the merit of Shabbat.

In Shabbat Bereshit, the light of the creation of the world comes and is revealed. The ten utterances through which the world was created come and are revealed. The Holy One, Blessed be He, imprints through it all of creation, the Ein Sof (infinite) light, Blessed be He, which holds together the entire world — without the reality of the light of Ein Sof, Blessed be He, there is no world.
Therefore, this Shabbat influences every single Shabbat. Every single Shabbat receives its influence from Shabbat Bereshit. And every Shabbat influences all the days of the week. It turns out that the entire year as a whole is blessed from Shabbat Bereshit.
And who represents the aspect of Shabbat? Rashbi (Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai). It is written in the Holy Zohar: "Just as Shabbat is holy to Hashem, so too Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai is holy to Hashem."..
The holy one of Hashem — that is Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. He is honored in this world and honored in the world to come.
