    Though the spiritual decree was annulled, danger still loomed. Chacham Fatiyah decided to perform a daring spiritual act: a flight of atonement (Kapparot) over the Land of Israel. Marko Cohen (the father of Rabbi Menachem Cohen, from the Greek Synagogue) paid for a British plane. The Kabbalists boarded the plane with Chacham Fatiyah and circled the borders of the Land. According to the Rabbi's instructions, they recited intense prayers and supplications, and even performed the ritual slaughter of roosters (Kapparot) inside the airplane!

Support Me and I Will be Saved

With the help of Heaven, we merit every day to host a mitzvah meal for dozens of Kollel scholars (avreichim) studying in the holy Yeshiva, and for dozens of needy and impoverished people supported by the Yeshiva. It is possible to take part in this important mitzvah and to be a partner with the Yeshiva in the expenses of the meal—full/partial meal; certainly, anyone who will be a partner in this important mitzvah will merit the special blessing: "If you gladden mine, I gladden yours."

It is Possible to Dedicate the Meal

  • For the elevation of the soul of the deceased—through which great spiritual satisfaction (nachat ruach) is made for them.
  • For success / healing / salvation in any matter.
  • As thanksgiving and gratitude to Hashem, May He Be Blessed, for the abundance of His loving-kindnesses.
  • A meal for the poor on the day of your celebration.

And of course, whoever dedicates the meal, we will prepare for him a special notice (like the attached example) that will be hung in the dining room.
