The Holy Ark has been taken, Rabbi David Shalom Batzri
With a broken and aching heart, we announce the passing of the righteous leader, unique in his generation in sanctity and his level of mourning over the Divine Presence and the entire Jewish people, who all his days was bound in a strong connection with Hashem, Blessed be He, and in His holy Torah

With a broken and aching heart, we announce the passing of the righteous leader, unique in his generation in sanctity and his level of mourning over the Divine Presence and the entire Jewish people, who all his days was bound in a strong connection with Hashem, Blessed be He, and in His holy Torah; he merited many to study the teachings of secret/Kabbalah and the intentions of the Rashash, turning many away from iniquity. His pure prayers with immense intent to unify the sefirot to lift the Shechinah from the dust. He toiled in Torah with diligence and devotion, knowing every intention down to its fine details. For many years, he studied in partnership (chevruta) with our Master, may he be separated for a long and good life, amen, the Rosh Yeshiva, shlit"a, in our holy yeshiva "Nahar Shalom", the yeshiva of the Kabbalists. He delivered regular lectures, led prayers before the ark with shofar blasts, and encouraged and urged the printing of prayer books with the intentions (Kavannot) "Rechovot HaNahar" of our holy yeshiva. All his days were spent in deep friendship with our Master, the Rosh Yeshiva שליט"א; he raised the yoke of the teachings of Kabbalah in his holy yeshiva "HaShalom", which he founded and nurtured with humility, reverence, and noble character. He established upright and blessed generations, and he suffered greatly due to our many sins.
