Background & Instructions
It is brought in Breishit Rabbah (Parshah 68, 2): At the time when our father Yaakov went out from Haran and Eliphaz came and took all his money from him, he prayed to Hashem and said: "I will raise my eyes to the mountains, from where will my help come?"—meaning, "my help" is a wife, as it is said: "I will make him a helpmate against him." Our father Yaakov said: "Eliezer, who went to bring Rivka, had ten camels and all the goodness of his master in his hand, etc., and I have neither one nose-ring nor one bracelet." Again, he turned and rebuked himself: "Heaven forbid, I am not losing my hope from my Creator; rather, 'My help is from Hashem, etc.'"
And the Ram'a of Fano wrote (in his book Ten Utterances) that this Psalm is suited for finding one's match. And therefore, it is proper that he recite this Psalm three times, and afterward request regarding his match; and just as the Holy One, Blessed be He, answered our father Yaakov, so may Hashem help him, and he shall find his match.
Psalm 121 (Recite 3 times)
A song for ascents. I will raise my eyes to the mountains, from where shall my help come? (Intent: "my help" is a wife)
My help is from Hashem, Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip; your Guardian will not slumber.
Behold, He neither slumbers nor sleeps, the Guardian of Israel.
Hashem is your Guardian; Hashem is your shade at your right hand.
By day the sun shall not smite you, nor the moon by night.
Hashem shall guard you from all evil; He shall guard your soul.
Hashem shall guard your going out and your coming in, from now and unto eternity. (3 times)
For those that can say this in Hebrew , say the psalm in Hebrew 3 times:
Afterward say:
House and wealth are the inheritance of fathers, but from Hashem comes a prudent wife. (3 times)
בַּיִת וָהוֹן נַחֲלַת אָבוֹת וּמֵיְיָ אִשָּׁה מַשְׂכָּלֶת: (ג׳ פעמים)
The L-rd settles the solitary in a house; He brings out prisoners at the most opportune time. (3 times)
אֱלֹהִים מוֹשִׁיב יְחִידִים בַּיְתָה מוֹצִיא אֲסִירִים בַּכּוֹשָׁרוֹת: (ג׳ פעמים)
Additional Psalms
He shall add and say five Psalms that our teacher and rabbi, the Head of the Yeshiva (Shlit"a), received from the Elder of the Kabbalists, our honorable teacher, Rabbi Yitzchak Kaduri (Ztvk"l), which are very suited for finding a match, and they are: 31, 32, 70, 72, 124; and the merit of King David shall protect us so that he finds his match.
Psalm 31
To the Chief Musician, a Psalm of David.
In You, Hashem, I have taken refuge; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness.
Incline Your ear to me, rescue me speedily; be to me a rock of strength, a house of fortresses to save me.
For You are my rock and my fortress, and for Your name's sake You will lead me and guide me.
You will bring me out of this net that they hid for me, for You are my strength.
Into Your hand I entrust my spirit; You have redeemed me, Hashem, G-d of truth.
I hate those who attend to vain falsehoods, but as for me, in Hashem I have trusted.
I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness, for You have seen my affliction; You have known the troubles of my soul.
And You have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a broad place.
Be gracious to me, Hashem, for I am in distress; my eye is consumed with grief, my soul and my belly.
For my life is spent in grief, and my years in sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones have decayed.
Because of all my adversaries I have become a reproach, and to my neighbors exceedingly, and a fear to my acquaintances; those who see me outside flee from me.
I am forgotten like a dead man out of mind; I have become like a broken vessel.
For I have heard the slander of many, terror on every side; while they took counsel together against me, they schemed to take my life.
But as for me, I trusted in You, Hashem; I said: "You are my L-rd."
My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from my pursuers.
Make Your face shine upon Your servant; save me in Your lovingkindness.
Hashem, let me not be ashamed, for I have called upon You; let the wicked be ashamed, let them be silent in the grave (Sheol).
Let lying lips be put to silence, which speak arrogantly against the righteous with pride and contempt.
How great is Your goodness, which You have hidden away for those who fear You, which You have wrought for those who trust in You before the sons of men!
You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You conceal them in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
Blessed be Hashem, for He has wondrously shown His lovingkindness to me in a besieged city.
And I said in my haste: "I am cut off from before Your eyes"; nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications when I cried out to You.
Love Hashem, all His pious ones! Hashem preserves the faithful, and pays with exactitude, him who works with haughtiness.
Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in Hashem.

Psalm 32
Of David, a Maskil. Happy is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Happy is the man to whom Hashem does not reckon iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
When I kept silent, my bones wore away through my groaning all the day.
For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my moisture was turned as into the droughts of summer. Selah.
I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said: "I will confess my transgressions to Hashem," and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
For this shall every pious one pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters, they shall not reach him.
You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go; I will counsel [you] with My eye upon you.
Be not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding; whose mouth must be held with bit and bridle, lest they come near to you.
Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in Hashem, lovingkindness shall surround him.
Be glad in Hashem, and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.

Psalm 70
To the Chief Musician, of David, to bring to remembrance.
O L-rd, [make haste] to deliver me; Hashem, make haste to my help!
Let them be ashamed and confounded who seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and put to confusion who desire my hurt.
Let them return in the path of their shame, those who say, "Aha, aha."
Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; and let such as love Your salvation say continually: "Let the L-rd be magnified!"
But I am poor and needy; make haste to me, O L-rd! You are my help and my deliverer; Hashem, do not delay!

Psalm 72
Of Shlomo. Give the king Your judgments, O L-rd, and Your righteousness to the king's son.
He shall judge Your people with righteousness, and Your poor with judgment.
The mountains shall bring peace to the nation, and the hills, by righteousness.
He shall judge the poor of the nation, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
May they fear You in the presence of the sun and before the moon for generations upon generations.
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
In his days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace till the moon be no more.
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
May nobles kneel before him, and may his enemies lick the dust.
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Yea, all kings shall fall down before him; all nations shall serve him.
For he shall deliver the needy when he cries, the poor also, and him that has no helper.
He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence, and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba; prayer also shall be made for him continually, and daily shall he be praised.
There shall be an abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon, and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
His name shall endure forever; his name shall be continued as long as the sun; and men shall be blessed in him; all nations will praise him.
Blessed be Hashem, L-rd, the L-rd of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.
And blessed be His glorious name forever; and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen.
The prayers of David the son of Yishai are completed.

Psalm 124
A song of ascents, of David. "If it had not been Hashem who was on our side," let Israel now say:
"If it had not been Hashem who was on our side, when men rose up against us;
Then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us;
Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul;
Then the wicked waters would have passed over our soul.
Blessed be Hashem, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.
Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped.
Our help is in the name of Hashem, Maker of heaven and earth.

The Chida's Prayer for a Match
Prayer for a Proper Match for a Young Man from the Chida, may his merit protect us, Amen (Zy"a), (brought in the book Kaf Echat):
Master of the Universe, in Your lovingkindness You formed Your world, and You created man, and You made for him a helpmate, and You commanded us to marry a wife and to father children; and Your servants, our Rabbis of blessed memory, were stringent not to delay this commandment.
And since the life of man in this world and in the World to Come depends almost [entirely] upon the woman, and due to our many sins, there is no longer a prophet nor possessors of the Holy Spirit to know which [woman] is fit in order to fulfill Your commandment, therefore with a broken heart I have come to lay my supplication before You, merciful Father.
And may it be Your will, Hashem, my L-rd and L-rd of my fathers, that You be filled with mercy for me and prepare for me a fine female partner, who fears Hashem, possesses good character traits, possesses good fortune, is of good intellect, successful, and blessed; for through this I will be able to perform the holy service without distraction.
And let it be that the young woman of whom they speak to me, if she is fitting, and possesses the fear of Hashem, good character traits, good fortune, and is proper for me—in Your abundant mercies have pity on me and incline my heart to finish the matter in a manner that I will be able to fulfill Your commandments, and it will be good for me in this world and in the World to Come.
Almighty full of mercy: Compassionate, Gracious, Guardian, Supporter, Rescuer, Upright, Redeemer (focus intention on the name "Reish", "Chet", "Shin" and "Tav", "Mem", "Yod", "Pei Sofit"), help me for the sake of the glory of Your name.
Act for the sake of Your name, act for the sake of Your right hand, act for the sake of Your Torah, act for the sake of Your holiness; be gracious to me and answer me and hear my prayer (focus intention on "Aleph", "Reish", "Aleph", "Reish", "Yod", "Tav", "Aleph"), for You hear the prayer of every mouth. Blessed are You, who hears prayer (focus intention on "Aleph", "Vav", "Caf", "Tzadi Sofit" and "Aleph", "Zayin", "Bet", "Vav", "Gimmel", "Hei").
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You, Hashem, my Rock and my Redeemer.
