Tu B’Av and the Rectification for a Fit Zivug
Tu B'Av was the time when the souls of Israel came up in thought, and therefore they enacted that in each and every year the daughters of Israel would go dancing in the vineyards and they permitted the tribes to marry one with the other and the tribe of Binyamin (Benjamin) was permitted to intermarry with the community, for this is the time that the souls of Israel came up in thought and therefore there is no time better than this for marriage.
Tu B’Av
There were not good days for Israel comparable to Tu B'Av and Yom Kippur.

On Tu B’Av, (15th of Av) the daughters of Israel would go out dancing in the vineyards, and they would say, young man, lift up your eyes and see who are you choosing for yourself, do not set your eyes on beauty, set your eyes on family, etc. – this hints that it is a day of matchmaking and contains within it a big segula, for it is in Adam Kadmon, Aztilut, Briah, Yetsira and Asiya of Yesod and illuminates within it the atonement of iniquities, and as it is known, whoever marries has forgiveness granted to him for all of his iniquities; and if so by the segula of forgiveness for iniquities of this day he merits atonement for iniquities and then merits a proper Zivug (match) and there is also within this great esoteric secrets, the secret of the moon and the sun, that the intensity of the sun concludes at Tu B'Av and the moon on the contrary is in its full state and by this there will be a connection of the sun with the moon and it is an aspect of a proper Zivug, and understand.
Seven things happened on the day of Tu B'Av:
A. The tribes were permitted to intermarry with one another — and this alludes to the love of Israel and the nullification of baseless hatred.
B. The day of breaking of the axe – that is to say that they stopped cutting down trees for the altar, because the intense heat of the sun concluded then – which hints at the intense power of strict justice has concluded then and the days (period) of mercy begins – Elul and the ten days of repentance.
C. Those who died in the wilderness ceased dying — for every year on Tisha B’Av (9th of Av) they would enter into graves in order to fulfill the decree of the Creator that they die in the wilderness, and in the final year they entered the graves and did not die, and they waited until Tu B’Av, and when they did not die, they rejoiced. This hints to the sweetening of judgments.
D. On that day permission was granted to bury those who were killed at Beitar — then they enacted the blessing “HaTov VeHaMeitiv” (The Good and Beneficent), 'the good One' - that they (the bodies) did not decompose (alt. trans. become excessively smelly) 'and who is beneficent', that they were granted permission for burial – this also alludes to the sweetening of judgments.
E. Permission was granted to the tribe of Binyamin to intermarry with the congregation – after they had put a ban on them on account of the incident of the Pilegesh B'Giva (the civil war that took place on account of the murdered concubine in Giva) -This also comes to allude at the nullification of baseless hatred and the strengthening of love between man and his neighbor.
F. They stopped the stationing of guards who had prevented members of the ten tribes of Israel from ascending to the Temple in Jerusalem. – This hints at the increase of holiness in the nation of Israel.
G. In regards to the prohibition of Orlah, the 15th of Av is a cutoff point. Namely, that trees planted before this date, will get the benefit of having a fraction of their first year considered a whole year regarding Orlah calculations. Thus potentially reducing from the time of the Orlah prohibition. This is hinting that in some way the 15th Av is like a new year.
Our master, the Chid'a wrote: On the day of Tu B'Av one should slightly increase their happiness for there is an elevation for the Divine Prescence as it is written in the Holy Zohar (section 2, page 135). And he should be careful of adding to Torah study in the night in accordance to what the sages wrote (Moreh B'etzba siman 8, note 242).
From the 15th of Av the days of mercy begin and therefore the righteous are accustomed to make a moral accounting of their ways and they should summarize the year and consider what they should do.
Now therefore, for many years, our Rabbis and Kabbalists gather together with our master and teacher, the righteous Kabbalist Rabbi Benayahu Shmueli, Shlit"a, head of the Kabbalists’ yeshivah “Nahar Shalom” in Jerusalem, at a time of favor at 3:00 a.m. before dawn in the Kabbalists’ yeshivah “Nahar Shalom,” and they conduct a rectification for a fit Zivug (match) and they make many segulot (spiritual remedies) and special prayers for the finding of a Zivug (match). In addition, our master and teacher, Shlit"a will conduct a special prayer for finding grace and kindness.
